How do I Complete a Network Speed Test for my Mercku Devices?

Using the Mercku App or Mercku Portal, you can test your wireless network’s download and upload speeds. You will be able to test speeds both from device to router and from router to the Internet. 

The management route is the same on both the Mercku M2 and the Mercku M6.

From Device to Router

This tests the network speed between any given mobile device through the mesh node(s) to the M2 router, which can only be tested via Mercku App.

1. Open the Mercku App on your mobile device
2. Select Toolbox > Speedtest > Beside Mobile > Router, press Start

      

From Router to the Internet

This tests the network speed between the M2 router and the internet. It can be tested either via the Mercku App or the Mercku portal.

1. Via Mercku App:
   1. Open the Mercku App on your mobile device
   2. Select Toolbox > Speedtest > Beside Router>Internet, press Start
2. Via Mercku Web Portal
   1. Visit http://mywifi.mercku.tech, and log in using your Router Admin Password
   2. Under My WiFi > Select Internet > Click on Speedtest under the Traffic Statistics header

Monitor Internet Traffic Usage

From the Mercku Portal you can monitor the following:

• WAN Status: shows current internet settings including IP address, netmask, DNS, and gateway
• Realtime Traffic: total download and total upload for the duration of the router’s uptime, which can be found under Router Status (please refer to the picture above)
