This article is applicable for both Mercku's M2(firmware version >1.9.1, App version >1.9.0) and M6.
Automatic firmware upgrades allow you to upgrade the M2 and M6 firmware on a pre-set to avoid interrupting the local Wi-Fi. There are two ways you can upgrade the firmware version of your Mercku nodes to the latest version: online upgrade and offline upgrade. Online upgrades may be conducted using either the Mercku App or Portal, while an offline upgrade may only be completed through the Mercku Portal.
Using the Mercku App:
- Open the Mercku App on your mobile device
- Settings > Upgrade Firmware > Click “Timer” on the top right
- Set up a preferable time for automatic firmware upgrade, select a time frame to auto-detect the latest firmware for the automatic upgrade.
Using the Mercku Web Portal:
- Open the Mercku web portal on your device, log in
- Go to Upgrade Firmware on the top bar > Click "Timer" on the top right
- Set up a preferable time for automatic firmware upgrade, select a time frame to auto-detect the latest firmware for the automatic upgrade.
