In this article, we'll show how to quickly reboot (or restart) your M6 Router
If your Mercku M6 device is not working as expected, you can reboot it - this does not factory reset your device, so the network settings and SSID and password will stay the same.
There are three ways you can factory reboot your device:
Method 1: Manual reboot
- Unplug the device, wait 1 minute, and plug the device back in.
- Plug the device back into power.
- Great job - now your device has been factory reset ๐
Method 2: Using the Mercku App (iOS and Android)
- Download the Mercku App from AppStore for iOS, or Google Play for Android
- Make sure your device is connected to your Mercku Network
- Open the Mercku App on your mobile device
- On the main screen, click on the device icon from your Network
- In this example, M6-1100 is the Main router and M6-0006 is a Mesh Node
- After selecting your Gateway router, locate the Reboot button at the bottom of the menu
- Wait until your M6 completes the reboot process.
- Great job - now your device has been rebooted ๐

Method 3: Using the Mercku Web Portal
- Make sure your computer is connected to the Mercku Wi-Fi Network
- From a Web Browser, open http://mywifi.mercku.tech, and log in using your Router Admin Password
- Under Setting > Select Router Management > Click on List > Click Reboot besides the router you would like to factory reset.
- Wait until your M6 completes the reboot sequence - don't unplug it!
- Great job - now your device has been rebooted ๐
