In this article, we'll show how to quickly reset your M2 Queen or Bee
Factory resetting your M2 Queen or Bee restores all settings back to factory default. However, factory resetting will not change the firmware version that's currently installed on the device.
There are three ways you can factory reset your device:
Method 1: Manual factory reset

- To manually reset your M2 device, press and hold the Reset button on the bottom of the device for 5-10 seconds, until the LED indicator light starts blinking red rapidly.
- Continue holding the Reset button until the LED starts blinking Red and Green. Release the Reset button.
- Unplug the device from the power source and wait 5-10 seconds to let the device power cycle.
- Plug the device back into power.
- Great job - now your device has been factory reset 🎉
Method 2: Using the Mercku App (iOS and Android)

- Download the Mercku App from AppStore for iOS, or Google Play for Android
- Make sure your device is connected to your Mercku Network
- Open the Mercku App on your mobile device
- On the main screen, click on the Gateway router icon from your Networ
- Your gateway router is coloured solid green on the App (in this case, M6-1100 is Gateway router) - this is your main WiFi point that is connected to the modem via the WAN port.
- After selecting your Gateway router, locate the Factory Reset button on the bottom of the menu
- Wait until your M2 completes the reset process and reboots.
- Great job - now your device has been factory reset 🎉
Method 3: Using the Mercku Web Portal

- Make sure your computer is connected to the Mercku Wi-Fi Network
- From a Web Browser, open http://mywifi.mercku.tech, and log in using your Router Admin Password
- Under My Wi-Fi > Select Router Management > Click on List > Click Factory Reset beside the router you would like to factory reset.
- Wait until your M2 completes the reset process and reboots.
- Great job - now your device has been factory reset 🎉
