Automatic channel switching allows the client device to switch to 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz channels automatically when traffic consumption reaches a threshold. This function is adopted for staying on the least congested channel for the most optimal Wi-Fi.
Using Mercku App to access automatic channel switching:
1. Log in to Mercku App
2. Go to Settings on the bottom bar
3. Select "Wi-Fi Settings"
Set up your preference rules according to below
- Trigger conditions
- Trigger upon reboot
- Scan at a preset time
- Scan at a preset time(Night only)
- Channel scanning interval(Hour)
- 1
- 2
- 3
- Switch when traffic is lower than
- 1 Mbps
- 5 Mbps
- 10 Mbps
Using Mercku web mywifi.mercku.tech to access automatic channel switching:
1. Log in mywifi.mercku.tech
2. Select "Settings" on the top menu
3. Go to "Wi-Fi Settings"
Set up your preference rules according to below
- Trigger conditions
- Trigger upon reboot
- Scan at a preset time
- Scan at a preset time(Night only)
- Channel scanning interval(Hour)

Note: this function is only available for firmware more than v1.9.2 on the M2.
